Yasmeen
This past summer one of my good friends from high school contacted me about giving them a photo shoot. So we set a date and meeting at Tipsy before heading out.
During our brief time at Tipsy Teapot I planed out the sites that would fit her best. She wanted a place to reflect her, a very artistic, edgy girl, and a place that her parents, formal and conservative, would appreciate.
For the first place I decided on some over grown train tracks near downtown Greenville. I’ve never used this site for anyone else, but I’m very glad I used it for her because I believe this photo really captures who she is.

This was also the first time I had used textures with a client. A little nerve racking, not knowing whether or not she would like my work, but overall very worth it.
Note about photo on right: I can’t figure out why it is showing up so blurry.
For some shoots for her parents I decided to take us onto East Carolina University’s campus. There are some classic photo shoot places on campus that everyone goes to, like the Cupola and the fountain. These are also places I like to avoid. Lots of foot traffic and the scenery isn’t that nice, but I made it work. And in fact I really like some of the shoots I got there.

Above: This isn’t the best photo of Yasmeen but I absolutely LOVE the light at her feet. And since it is a good photo of her, in my opinion the light made it worth keeping.
Left: This was taken in front of the library. I love the lighting here as well. Also was blessed with some wind which made the photo.
Below: I love this girl :)
