I have to say: I love doing graduation photos.
There is this excitement that comes with the shoot. Not only are they getting a shoot done but it is because they are graduating! and who isn’t excited about graduation?! This year, before I took off for Orlando, I had the privilege of photographing three people. Two, one being my sister, whom were graduating from J.H. Rose High School and one, my best friend, who graduated from East Carolina University.

Jayme
I don’t think I can explain to you how excited she is that she has graduated.
As a elementary education major she spent too many nights with me watching tv while she worked on lesson plans, haha some good times.
Kofi
He is a senior at Rose High, the same high school I attended back in the day, and planning on going to college for pre-med (hopefully I remembering this correctly). Kofi was was first non-friend/family/acquaintance client. Very exciting for me, but also very nerve racking. I had just discovered that I wasn’t the best at directing people earlier that week so I decided to bring a friend along with me to help and also to ease any tension.
During this shoot we ended up getting kicked off a property, lol. My only thought was, “well this makes for a great first impression”, but it all turned out well.
Amber
This is my little sister, who is also a senior at Rose High and will be graduating in about two weeks. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to get another shoot in with her cap and gown, but I am very happy with how these came out. Glad she listened to me and decided not to do the school portraits ;)
